2026 Black Liberation Fund Pitch Competition Honorees
For 2026, the Philadelphia Black Giving Circle and Network (PBGCN) brought the Black Liberation Fund to the stage through a live pitch competition held during Black Philanthropy Month and Global Black Giving Day.
The Black Liberation Fund centers the joy, healing, liberation, and self-determination of Black communities. This year, five Black-led, Black-serving organizations from the Greater Philadelphia region shared their visions for strengthening community through education, workforce development, family wellness, arts and culture, and the preservation of Black stories and traditions.
We are proud to announce the 2026 Black Liberation Fund Pitch Competition honorees, with a total of $8,000 awarded.

Theatre in the X
Theatre in the X was created in 2013 to provide the people of West Philadelphia and the African American community at large with the opportunity to see professional-quality theater in their own neighborhood at no cost.
